Michael Schumacher's Last Formula One Grand Prix

On October 22, 2006 Michael Schumacher raced is last Formula One Grand Prix at the Brazilian Grand Prix, after announcing his retirement from Formula One in post-race interviews, following the Italian Grand Prix, a month earlier. Michael finished fourth in his Ferrari after a flat left rear tire in the early laps relagated him to last place and nearly a lap down to his team mate (and eventual race winner) Felipe Massa.

Michael finished the championship in second place in his last season in a narrow margin to Fenando Alonzo, winning his second consecutive worl championship.

Arguably the best driver in the world, Michael holds almost every Formula One record, including 7 championships and 91 race wins. Michael took home the car he drove in his last race as a gift from the Ferrari Formula 1 race team.
