Elvis Presley 's First Recording
Kicking off a historic career, Elvis Presley recorded his first record on July 5, 1954 when he stepped into the Sun Records studio in Memphis and recored "That's All Right," a cover of a blues number by Arthur Crudup.
The song was not a hit, but received a great deal of local airplay and is credited as being one of few recordings that kicked off the rock 'n' roll revolution that changed American music.
