Star Trek Actor Spent Four Years In WWII Internment Camps
Renowned Star Trek actor George Takei, who played Hikaru Sulu in the original Star Trek series and six movies, was sent with his family to Japanese Internment camps following the attack on Pearl Harbor. At the age of four Takei and his family were order from thier Los Angeles home and sent to the Rohwer Relocation Center in Arkansas. After a year they were sent to a camp at Tule Lake, California.
