Highest Paid Actress Breaks Nose On Her Birthday

On Saturday, August 30, 2003 actress Cameron Diaz broke her nose in a surfing mishap off Waikiki Beach. She was on the first day of a two-week vacation in Hawaii with friends and family and it was her 31st birthday.

The incident came in the same week that Guinness World Records announced that she was now the highest-paid actress (beating out Julia Roberts), based on earnings of $42.2 million in 2001.
