The West Edmonton Mall, located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada is the world's largest shopping mall. The mall includes 5.3 million square feet of space. There are over 800 stores, over 110 eating establishments, 26 movie theatres and seven attractions, including an amusement park, waterpark, mini-golf, ice rink, the world's largest indoor lake and varied sea life. The mall occupies 121 acres and the parking can accommodate 20,000 cars. The total cost for the four phases of construction for the mall topped $2.8 billion.
