PGA Tour Record: Lowest Score Under Par

At the 2003 season-opening round at The Plantation course in Kapalua, Hawaii, Ernie Els set the PGA Tour record for the lowest score in relation to par. Els won the tournament on January 12, 2003 with a 31 under par after 72 holes. The record was last set at 28 under, set by John Huston at the 1998 Hawaiian Open and Mark Calcavecchia at the 2001 Phoenix Open.
