After almost a year of speculation over what "IT" is, Dean Kamen introduced his latest invention, the Segway Human Transporter, on ABC's Good Morning America on December 3, 2001. Code named "Ginger", the Segway cost more than $100 million to develop and promises to revolutionize human transportation in urban environments.
